ANTIGUA
Year round sunshine and stunning white sand beaches, combined with charming villages and a vibrant music scene makes Antigua a very popular choice for visitors to the Caribbean. Part of the twin nation, Antigua and Barbuda, there is a fabulous offshore reef which circles almost the whole island making watersports very popular including Scuba Diving and Snorkelling. For those who want it less active, there are 365 beaches to choose from.
The capital of the island, St Johns, is located in the north of the island and its waterfront shopping malls, farmer's markets and harbour side restaurants are overlooked by the striking cathedral towers. It is particularly lively during Antigua Sailing Week (usually the last week in April), which is a world famous regatta attracting sailors from all over the world and is accompanied by carnival like atmospheres and live music.
In the south of the island, English Harbour and Falmouth Harbour offer a more relaxed feeling with yacht marinas and luxurious beachfront hotels. If you are feeling particularly adventurous, Stingray City in the east of the island offers the chance to snorkel with graceful stingrays.
As it has heritage from when it was a British Colony, Antigua offers numerous examples such as some of the architecture, cricket pitches (it is the national sport of Antigua) and hotels offer traditional afternoon tea.

Chris and Ian booked me a great trip to the Algarve which I just returned from. They responded quickly to my enquiry, talked me through the options and booked a stunning hotel with a great location. Ben Cheshire
The service was first class, professional and extremely efficient! Above all, it took all of the stress out of booking a trip and I ended up extremely well organised. Thanks to the team. |

I would not hesitate to recommend Verini Travel. They have helped us book the perfect holiday in the past and helped us with advice and support when looking to book in these trying times for the industry. We much appreciated their knowledge and honest opinions. We will definitely be coming back as soon as we are able to book again.
