Krabi
A small coastal province in southern Thailand, Krabi's stunning landscapes and beaches were made famous in films such as The Beach.
As such Krabi is a great place for a beach holiday. Sheer limestone cliffs topped with foliage hide inviting bays with beautiful crystal clear turquoise water. The coral reefs in these waters are some of the world's most gorgeous and make them great for diving. The mainland is full of dense mangrove forests and offshore is hundreds of islands that give you plenty to explore.
The area is a natural wonder and is home to many national parks that feature hot springs, wildlife sanctuaries, sea caves and more. The city of Krabi has plenty to offer visitors as well, with shopping and night markets as well as plenty of hotels, guesthouses and restaurants. Trips to the offshore islands go from here.
