CAYMAN ISLANDS
The Caymans are made up of three islands, each of which has a distinct personality. Grand Cayman, the largest and main island is well known for its glorious sandy beaches and resorts as well as being the home of recreational SCUBA diving. Cayman Brac is known as the setting off point for many deep sea expeditions and Little Cayman is a tranquil island where you can relax until your hearts content.
As the largest and capital island, Grand Cayman is the cultural hub and the main place tourists will spend their time. The Cayman Islands has a strong musical tradition and has many festivals throughout the year showcasing the best in everything from reggae and Jazz to classical music.
Many of the resorts can be found on the famous Seven Mile Beach, a crescent shaped stretch of soft, white sand on the western coast of Grand Cayman. See the traditional architecture in the buildings of George Town, south of Seven Mile Beach or shop till you drop.
Both Cayman Brac and Little Cayman are off the beaten track. Perfect for nature lovers who want to get up close and personal with the flora and fauna the islands have to offer. Accommodation here is laid back with easy access to beautiful beaches to relax on.
