Turtle Inn

​The Turtle Inn Belize is located a short bike ride from the seaside village of Placencia, a location which is great for trying to swim/spot the elusive whale sharks which make this part of the ocean home between April and June.

There are 25 rooms at the property which are set in individual thatched cottages with private decks. Views are out over the Caribbean Sea or the Maya Mountains and Victoria Peak. All rooms include wifi, iPod docking station, Illy espresso machine, organic locally sourced toiletries and minibar.

The hotel has two swimming pools, one by the bar and the other, an infinity pool nestled between the cottages.

There is a spa and PADI dive centre located at the hotel so you whether you want to relax on land or by taking in the underwater vista you have the option.

Kayaks and paddle boats are also provided free of charge.

3 restaurants complete the culinary options - classic Italian and woodfired pizzas at the Mare, char-grilled freshly caught seafood at Gauguin Grill or traditional Belizean food at Auntie Lubas. There are also 2 bars.
