BARBADOS
Although a small island in size (21 miles x 14 miles), Barbados makes up for this with big festivals, historic sights, a blend of influences and of course the integral Barbadian Rum which can be sampled in most places on the island.
The island has excellent infrastructure especially in the south and on the western coast making it easy to get around and explore the sights and sounds of this beautiful island.
The capital of the island is Bridgetown, which sits in the southwest of the island. The city still has much of its British colonial architecture, as well as being an excellent place for food and drink with the Mount Gay Rum Distillery, and many Barbadian food spots. There is a large and scenic cricket ground in the marina, and Broad Street features many upmarket boutique stores perfect for shoppers.
As you can see from the graph above, temperatures average between the late twenties and 30 degrees Celsius, with a soft sea breeze. From June to November is the rainy season where it is hotter and more humid and showers come and go. December to May is slightly cooler but is much dryer.
The wild and more rugged eastern coast is popular with surfers because of its dramatic waves. Take a trip to Bathsheba, a fishing village with quaint churches and some fantastic restaurants.
The cosmopolitan western coast (often known as the 'Platinum Coast') is where the hotels and resorts are. Here the beaches are more protected and the water calmer, making it great for swimming. Our chosen ones lie on this coast and provide somewhere you can relax surrounded by luxury.

Chris and Ian booked me a great trip to the Algarve which I just returned from. They responded quickly to my enquiry, talked me through the options and booked a stunning hotel with a great location. Ben Cheshire
The service was first class, professional and extremely efficient! Above all, it took all of the stress out of booking a trip and I ended up extremely well organised. Thanks to the team. |

I would not hesitate to recommend Verini Travel. They have helped us book the perfect holiday in the past and helped us with advice and support when looking to book in these trying times for the industry. We much appreciated their knowledge and honest opinions. We will definitely be coming back as soon as we are able to book again.
