Koh Lanta
Koh Lanta is definitely a destination for beachlovers. With it being part of an archipelago of 52 islands, there are certainly plenty to choose from and you will find that you will have a favourite. Choose from the wide, sandy Klong Dao to the smaller Mu Koh Lanta National Park.
The locals take great pride in keeping the beaches in pristine condition and if you rise early, then you will see hotel workers collecting any rubbish from their section of sand.
Its not just all about the beaches however as there is plenty of other places and things to see on Koh Lanta. Koh Lanta Old Town has traditional shop houses, sitting on stilts above the water and decorated by brightly coloured lanterns. This is a great place for shopping.
In the evening, join others heading for Khlong Nin Beach. This is the best place to see the sunset from one of the many bars and restaurants, lounging on a bean bag with the sand between your toes and sipping on a cocktail.
