Grenada Temperature & Rainfall
GRENADA
From rainforests and waterfalls to mangroves, sheltered beaches or the wilder costs of the north, Grenada has plenty to offer. With a wide variety of wildlife both on land and in the water, there is lots of opportunities to explore this laid-back island.
Smaller than the Isle of Wight, Grenada is the perfect Caribbean island for those looking for a quiet, laid-back holiday where you can lie on pristine beaches or explore the breath taking nature that it has to offer.
A former volcanic island, Grenada has extremely fertile soil, which has allowed lush forests, mangroves and gushing waterfalls to thrive. The volcano's crater is now home to the Grand Etang Lake which is something that should be seen along with the Grand Etang National Park in which it sits.
Most of the tourist areas on the island are in the south, the main resorts being Grand Anse and Port Salines. This area has some stunning beaches which many of the luxury hotels sit on. Being a small island, if you are staying here it is still easy for you to reach the rest of the island on daytrips such as to the island's capital of Saint George's
