Located close to the south-western city of Galle, The Fortress Resort & Spa occupies a perfect beach location. A very grand and elegant property, there is lots of space inside the hotel with the inner courtyard and tranquil gardens.

All of the suites and rooms at the hotel offer top quality furnishments and amenities in a very contemporary style. All rooms have views of the garden or ocean and some rooms also have an indoor plunge pool.

Culinary delights are provided in 3 restaurants with locally caught seafood featuring on the menus. The lounge at the hotel also hosts a tea ceremony with a wide range of teas available.

Being so close to Galle, there are a wide range of actvities you can partake in but if you prefer the more relaxed way, the spa at the property offers excellent Ayurvedic therapies.

Another relaxed activity is the turtle conservation project the hotel is involved in, in which you can take part.
