​This simply stunning hotel is set in the middle of a ten million year old rainforest, with the mountains behind and the views of the Andaman Sea stretching out in front of you. 

There are a wide variety of rooms available at The Datai, ranging from the main building which stretches either side of the open air reception, lily pond and lobby lounge to luxurious villas dotted around the rainforest to which you are transported by the impeccable staff on golf buggies.

​The hotel has recently undergone a 12 month renovation project and so the hotel has a refreshed feel whilst still preserving the soul of the property.

 With 6 restaurants to choose from (including private beach dining), there are no shortage of dining options, including the Dining Room with its extensive wine list and fine dining to the treetop signature Thai Pavilion restaurant and the award winning Gulai House tucked deep into the rainforest.

Two swimming pools (one adult only), a beach club and gym are just some of the facilities. The Spa is located in the middle of the rainforest and offers a variety of treatments. Nature walks and snorkelling on the coral reef are undertaken by experts.

​​Nearby is also the Els Club Teluk Datai, an award winning, championship golf course if you want to drag yourself away from the hotel for a little more action.
