Mauritius Temperature & Rainfall
MAURITIUS
Mauritius is an intriguing combination of cultures, all of which accommodate each other. This is highlighted particularly in the cuisine available on the island with French, Indian and Creole dishes all on offer to taste.
Irrespective of where you choose to go on this amazing island, beauty and interesting areas are available to explore such as the Botanical Gardens of Pamplemousses in the north or the Valley of Colours Nature Park in the south.
There are some must sees on the island though. Champs de Mars, in Port Louis, is the oldest racecourse in the Indian Ocean and is a place to visit during the racing season (May to December). Also in Port Louis, is the Jummah Mosque. In Rose Hill, the theatre Le Plaza regularly holds plays, concerts and operas. Next door is the Max Boulle art gallery where there are regular exhibitions.
If all of this sounds a bit exhausting then you always have the stunning beaches and spas of our chosen properties to relax in.
