OMAN
Oman is a much more traditional middle east destination than either Abu Dhabi or Dubai.
The capital, Muscat, is located between the Al Hajar Mountains and The Sea Of Oman and is not at all what you would expect from a large city in the Middle East. Buildings are much more in tune with the history and surroundings rather than the high rise skyscrapers of its neighbours. Even the modern buildings often have traditional features such as domes or arabesque windows built into them.
Muscat has lots of interesting sites to visit such as the old walled town which leads to the Sultan's imposing Al Alam Royal Palace and the spectacular Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque which holds the worlds largest Persian carpet, which took 600 women over 4 years to complete.
Oman is not just about Muscat though and the Musandam Peninsula is full of mountains that rise from the Gulf to over 2000 metres above sea level and large bays and coastal villages only accessible by boat.
Another option is Salalah, which is in the south of the country. This area is known for its banana plantations, beaches and amazing sealife.

Chris and Caroline booked me a great trip to the Algarve which I just returned from. They responded quickly to my enquiry, talked me through the options and booked a stunning hotel with a great location. Ben Cheshire
The service was first class, professional and extremely efficient! Above all, it took all of the stress out of booking a trip and I ended up extremely well organised. Thanks to the team. |

I would not hesitate to recommend CT4N Travel. They have helped us book the perfect holiday in the past and helped us with advice and support when looking to book in these trying times for the industry. We much appreciated their knowledge and honest opinions. We will definitely be coming back as soon as we are able to book again.
