Tanzania & Zanzibar Temperature & Rainfall
TANZANIA & ZANZIBAR
Tanzania and Zanzibar offer possibly one of the best mixtures of holidays available in the world. The mainland of Tanzania offers the classic safari options with the Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater to try and spot the big 5. If you want adventure then you could always look at climbing Mount Kilimanjaro which is Africa's highest mountain.
If the main safari spots are too busy, then you could go to Nyerere and Ruaha or even to the Mahale Mountains National Park to try and spot chimpanzees.
Zanzibar is just 60 miles off the east coast of Africa and is the original 'spice island'. The UNESCO World Heritage Stone Town offers a myriad of maze like narrow streets to wander around, whilst the east coast of the island has white sand beaches and warm waters protected by the reef.
