Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge

A very different proposition in our Wintasun product is the Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge. Consisting of 30 plantation houses, which have been designed around the original landowner's home which dates back to the early 1900's and lying on the foothills of Mount Merus, the property is on the outskirts of the town of Arusha in one of Tanzania's largest coffee plantations. The rooms have all been comfortably furnished, with an in room log fire, en suite bathroom and verandah overlooking the plantation. The main Plantation House hosts the a la carte restaurant where the menu features the very best in locally sourced produce, bistro which serves meat, fish, pasta, pizza and salads and lounge. There are plenty of opportunities to explore with the Bean To Cup coffee tour, Arusha National Park, Arusha City and a daytrip to the famous Ngorongoro Crater available. Alternatively relax in the enclosed, intimate swimming pool or have a treatment in the Peaberries Spa. An ideal 'different' proposal to match up with Zanzibar. Please be aware that it can get chilly at night here hence why the log fires are so prevalant. |
