GRAN CANARIA
Gran Canaria has been a tourist destination since the 19th century when it hosted visitors from the Spanish mainland. Since then it has continued to develop and the third largest Canary Island certainly has the infrastructure require to make it a favourite.
With long sandy beaches, busy resorts and traditional villages such as Fataga, there is a wide choice to satisfy everyone's needs.
Playa Del Ingles and Maspalomas are the busiest resorts where sunbathing and nightlife is definitely on the menu. Alternatively, you can choose the more relaxed Puerto Mogan, Bahia Feliz or Puerto Rico. Meloneras and Playa Taurito are adding that luxury touch to the choices.
Away from the beaches, the island has a fabulous itinerary just waiting to be explored.
