With the magnificent Chaophraya River meandering through the centre of the city as a focal point, the experiences of Bangkok will stay with you for a lifetime. For a more relaxed stay, choose a hotel that is located by the river itself or to experience the full buzz choose a hotel that is right in the middle of the action. The Skytrain is so easy to use to get around that nowhere is ever very far away. Rooftop bars are the latest craze in Bangkok, so much so that you really need to make reservations to get your spot in the best bars.
Bangkok is also the starting point for many tours such as The Bridge over the River Kwai or the floating markets. History abounds here as well - in fact there is so much to choose from, the real question is how long will you stay here? |
