Located on the northern tip of Mahe by beautiful Beau Vallon Bay, this hotel is where jungle meets sea. A luxurious resort consists of thatched villas tumbling down the steep hillside to the waters below with a backdrop of granite boulders and tropical foliage. It was supposedly a favourite spot of the James Bond author, Ian Fleming, and it is easy to see why. The rooms are all decorates in gloddy wood and glass panelled french doors with original artwork and flashes of bright lime green or cherry red as accent colours. The top room is the Grand Ocean Pool Villa which has its own private infinity pool overlooking the Indian Ocean. With 3 restaurants to tempt your tastebuds, Mahe restaurant is inspired by Creole cooking, the Wave provides al fresco lunch and dinner whilst stunning sunsets and local culture can be enjoyed at the Oceanview restaurant. For those who are looking for a bit of activity, there is complimentary stand up baddle boards, kayaks and snorkels. The hotel also has an infinity pool, spa with treatments, sauna, steam room, fitness room, table tennis and volleyball. |
