Melia Mare Madeira

The Melia Mare Madeira is located in the Lido area of Funchal, with spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean.

The hotel rooms are comfortable and modern in design with balconies. If you want more space, then three Premium Seaview Suites have a separate living room with sofa bed.

Culinary options here are excellent with generous sized breakfasts, pizza and salads at the pool bar, then dinner is either buffet style at Mare Nostrum with live cooking stations or a-la carte style at Il Massimo. The terrace also serves after dinner cocktails.

There are plenty of facilities at the property as well with a small pebble beach, 3 swimming pools (including a children's pool), spa, fitness centre and games room. The spa has a sauna, steam room, thalassotherapy, vuchy showers, rain showers, hydro massage and traditional swiss showers along with various treatments.

Local buses stop right outside the hotel if you do want to explore the local area which is highly recommended.
