Do I need Travel Insurance?
We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance. Your policy should cover things such as medical expenses (including repatriation if required), personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects. How do I get my tickets?
Your tickets will be sent out to you approximately two weeks before your departure (dependent on tour operator and airline). We can also arrange all of your boarding passes etc.
Do I need a passport and visa?
Dependent on your destination and your passport type, will dictate as to whether you need a Visa. You should have at least 6 months validity on your passport remaining when you travel. Please ensure that your name on the booking matches that on your passport.
What methods of payment does Wintasun accept?
We accept all major forms of credit card and debit card (with the exception of American Express) for your booking.
What is the deadline for final payment?
This depends on your tour operator but your receipt will always show a balance due date. This is normally between 12 and 14 weeks before departure.
How will I know my booking is confirmed?
You will receive a receipt, itinerary and booking confirmation from us along with your ATOL certificate (proof of financial protection) from us or the relevant tour operator.
What happens if I have to cancel?
Your booking terms and conditions vary dependent on the tour operator you are booked with. If you need to cancel, please contact us and we will speak to the tour operator on your behalf regarding your cancellation.
